As I await the unveiling of the latest episode of "ADVENTURES WITH THE AMBERSONS" on SuperDeluxe.com, a sudden, unexpected surprise came up out of the blue: The 2007 Dragon*Con Independent Film Festival has asked to feature a BLOCK of Red Hatchet Films stuff this Friday! Festival director Matthew Foster and I have never met, but he's been encouraging me artistically since "VALLEY OF GWOMBI" was a runner-up for Best Animated Comedy at DCIFF 2005. "FROM BEYOND" won for Best Animated Horror in 2006, the same category that "GEORGIE'S WISH" is in this year (go, Georgie!). "Animation featuring the works of Michael Granberry" will include "VALLEY OF GWOMBI", "FROM BEYOND", "GEORGIE'S WISH", "A WINTER'S TALE", and "DREDD MANOR". If anyone can make it (not sure of the exact time, yet, but I'll post it when I do) I'd love to hear how it goes, so please report back to me.
